My boyfriend’s father committed suicide when I was 20 yrs old.  The trauma changed me as a person. My priorities , interests, goals, my bodies ability to handle stress all were totally uprooted.  God took those things and forged an even more amazing life than I could have envisioned.  The puzzle pieces of my life so far would have never looked like they could have created the picture it has become!

Having my first child at 18 was the biggest moment that changed my life course. While I do not recommend being a young mother, I have overcome obstacles that have made me a stronger person, and I have successfully achieved even the biggest/hardest goals that I have set for myself. I don’t know how much of it I would have done had I not had my son.  However, I will say it again, I do NOT recommend being a young mother.

Marrying my husband. He’s gone now but I can’t imagine the direction of my life had we not found each other MANY years ago.

Choosing my degree in college. Two very different fields lay before me. It obviously directed where I lived/worked/people I came in contact with, etc. But it was the right choice! Moving “away” as you say is always big. I hope it has changed your life course for the better!?
